The second edition of “Perceptions. New Forms of Art” focused on the relationship between theatre, technology and contemporary human experience. The invited artists used artificial intelligence, virtual reality, digital avatars and online research practices to explore identity, femininity, memory, privacy and the social consequences of living in a world shaped by algorithms. The programme featured works by the Interrobang collective, Yen Tzu Chang, Krzysztof Garbaczewski and Magda Szpecht, presenting technology both as a creative tool and as an object of critical reflection. At the heart of the event, however, remained the body, emotions and the need for genuine encounter — Perceptions asked above all how new technologies are transforming our sensitivity, art and ways of being together.

The first edition of “Perceptions. New Forms of Art” explored the boundaries between presence and transmission, corporeality and code, and the human and technology. The programme comprised four works employing interactivity, immersion, artificial intelligence and futuristic narratives: the exhibition “ICONS” by the panGenerator collective, the performances “Possible Worlds” by Kana Theatre and “CON(*)NECTIVITY. 2201: A Socio-Political Odyssey” by Potem-o-tem Theatre, and the immersive experience “NO-ONE SHOW” by Jerzy Bielski and the Futurists collective. The invited artists reflected on the digital rituals of everyday life, the illusion of agency, the automation of human existence, the crisis of humanity and questions of identity in a world increasingly shaped by algorithms.
